Singing Cadets Barbershop Quartets
The Aggienizors
The Aggienizors are a select, auditioned barbershop quartet composed of members of the Texas A&M Singing Cadets. The group is featured on all recordings and performs at every major concert.
The tradition of a quartet in the Singing Cadets dates back to the late 1940s. While quartets like The Harmonaires captivated audiences in the 1950s, the first group to adopt the name The Aggienizors was formed in 1959.
The modern Aggienizors were reborn in the 1970s, establishing themselves as both a successful barbershop quartet and a source of comedic relief. Coached for years by Dennis Driscoll, they built the foundation of classic tunes the group still sings.
In recent years, The Aggienizors have competed nationally in the Barbershop Harmony Society’s International Collegiate Barbershop Quartet Contest (2017 in Las Vegas and 2018 in Orlando).

The Quad
Due to the immense talent within the choir, the Singing Cadets decided to expand its barbershop tradition beyond the established Aggienizors. This need for a second dedicated quartet led to the formation of The Quad in the fall of 2019. Its founding members were Lucas Revering ’22 (Tenor), Aaron Daniel ’19 (Lead), Cameron Ho ’23 (Bass) and Ryan Oktay ’22 (Baritone). These members quickly achieved success, going on to compete in the International Varsity Barbershop Competition, the most prestigious event for collegiate quartets worldwide.
The Quad performs at Singing Cadet concerts around world and the group auditions every year to qualify for the Barbershop Harmony Society’s International Collegiate Barbershop Quartet Contest held in the summer.
